What an exciting week it has been already for Absolute and Breezer UK On Saturday 29th, after a cross country dash by car, Louisa, Russ and their boy Archie, managed to beat Wolfgang, from Breezer, into Gloucester by a narrow 8 minute margin to see the UK Breezer demo aircraft land for the first time on British soil. It was quite an emotional moment all in all after a patient wait on the Winter weather. Stuart was already on hand at the Breezers new home/hangar (owned by sister company RGV) with the door open. Russ rushed down and met Wolfgang and of course, couldn’t miss the opportunity to get at the controls of the Breezer, even if only on the ground and he taxied it down to park up and get some pictures. There will be more pictures and video’s added to the site soon, or on to Breezer Aircraft Englands facebook page, especially as G-OLSA (as she will be called) works through the CAA registration requirements. An exciting Spring and Summer is being planned, with the Breezer being taken round the UK, not just to shows and regular clubs, but to just about anywhere she can fit in! There is already a lot of interest in the aircraft from flying clubs and private individuals, who have all seen the potential for the aircraft in just about all areas of the leisure flying sector of GA. Aero Expo 2010 Thanks to all of you that visited us on our stand at Aero Expo and a special thanks to everyone that helped organise, set up and run the stand over the whole weekend (both from RGV and Absolute)! The "packaged" aircraft on our stand grabbed a stack of attention, with a lot of interest from everyone that walked past... lots of piccies were taken! And it only took 6 of us about 6 hours to do!!!! It really was worth it.... It was a good show for us, with possibly the most exciting news for us being (fingers crossed) an opportunity to work with some new European friends, selling their absolutely, beautiful little aircraft....watch this space!!!! We're really excited by this and think that we're going to be doing our bit to help, not only replace the ageing and tired UK training fleets...but to also grow the UK GA community as a whole.
